The GM Heritage Center on-line "Restoration Pack Specifications Manuals" are also invaluable. Each manual is a large download, but if you want the specs for your truck, the Specifications Manual and a Shop Manual (and an Owners/Operators Manual) are also "necessities". Keith has many of these on his website (
for, examples: "Resto- Packs" ).
If anyone is interested, I have extracted the Serial Numbers and Colors information from the 1936-1962 Specifications Manuals and posted them on this
