Looks like it's a Google-vs-Microsoft thing. I signed out of Google Drive, then tried to view/download the files. Just like you, my computer went into permanent limbo. It loads OK on my iPhone.

I'm also getting error messages on my Google/Blogspot blog that I am writing about our neighborhood's history. (My first post will go live at 1:00AM 1/4/2014 and features my truck.)
