A couple of years ago I found an un-restored, original paint and upholstery '49 GMC 1/2 ton for sale on eBay with only 2700 original miles on it. It was in such good condition I wanted to take some photos of it to help me with the restoration of my '52 GMC. As you probably know, arm rests were sold as accessories and there is no way to tell for certain that the arm rest is original to the truck, but judging from everything else it is likely. The owner eventually sold the truck for $32K.
