All driver-side doors, have a mounting plate with weld nuts. The passenger-side door has the same plate, with holes, but no weld-nuts on the mounting plate or holes in the exterior skin, unless the passenger-side mirror was installed at the factory or at the dealership. The backing plate serves hole location well.
