I just bought a spotlight off ebay and it is in pretty good shape. I have a 6/12v battery charger and used it to test the bulb. The bulb lit up, just not very bright. I tried to test it in the spotlight with the switch. I attached the spotlight wires to the bulb and then attached the charger to the lead wire: black wire to the lead wire and red I just touched to the light assembly for the ground. I flipped the switch and nothing happened. Am I testing it right? If I am, is it probably the switch? or something along the way? Where does the power go through from the handle to the head? maybe that point is rusty or something? Any ideas please...
