want to join the old dominion stove bolt society once i get this bolt running again just purchased it for scrap price but i am a mechanic and as long as i can get the parts it will live again but i ran into the "huck" brake issue the rear drums were seized and are pitted beyond repair one had to be shattered before i could even get it off. i just need the cheapest solution and i hope someone has some info on where to get parts or hopefully some good used parts.. thanks all for any advice or help.
Huck rears are different from the fronts, NOT interchangeable at least for a 1/2 ton.
Plenty of good reading here... We are doing a winter (in January) junk yard tour and the place we're going to does have some AD trucks, they are 1/2 tons so find out if the drums are the same. Wait, if you're 3/4 ton that's 8 lug, right?
