The original carb would be a Carter W-1. 50 up went to the Roch. model B. If you have a latter 235 engine or 235 manifolds it will be the model B with a larger bore carb. Measure the mounting stud distance. If it is 2 15/16 center to center then you have a 235. You will need to find a carb for 54-59. You can use one from a 60-67 but it has a different air cleaner mounting & fuel inlet line. If it has 2 5/8 centers it is a 216 manifold & you need a W-1 to be original or a model B to be "proper".
