i made ALL my lines from stock pieces coupled together. i covered them ALL w/ surplus screen door springs stretched out to about 2/5 ft long. the springs help to keep any 'rocks' from nicking the lines.

to get everything to fit i needed to have the lines double flared. so i went to a brake shop and it cost me $4.00 each, a total of 5 ends , so $20.00 to have the double flare ends completely done. the double flare tool was more than that. now me, i love tools but really don't have a need to have said double fllare tool in the shop. i don't have much use for it.

YEAH i got those benders too and ya DON"T need them. You can EASILY bend brake line with your HANDS . . . . . COME ON GUYS.
NO bending tools really needed.
