I dropped the tranny on my 57 2-Ton in order to remove the pressure plate and clutch disc. However, the transmission support bridge does not allow for an easy removal. Do I have to lift the engine in order to move it forward to get the pressure plate and clutch disc out? Or is there a trick to getting these out without lifting the engine?
