Just picked up a 49 GMC 300 firetruck myself. Used a 12v battery to get her started and trailered for the ride home. I bought a new 6v battery and she cranks over now as well. Would love to hear about your 12v conversion and if it was worth the time and money. If so did you use a complete new harness package and what type? Thanks in advance for any info.
