So I found the data tag on my 41' half ton - it's on the passenger side screewed to the side cowl/firewall. It has screew heads that look like they take a special wrench - factory installed I'm guessing. Someone painted over it as they sprayed the firewall, so only the vin number is visible as it is stamped in. Does anyone know how to remove the new paint such that I can read the identification info below it?
