For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 37 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 37 | I recently picked up what appears to be a 1946 1 1/2 ton dually. I have been all over the Internet but haven't been able to accurately decode the engine. It is: DAA27I869. The sixth one is an I as in Ice Cream. This truck is giving me decoding fits as it appears to be one of the '46's built with leftover parts from the pre-war years. Anyone out there that can help me out? I'd REALLY appreciate it! Thanks, Brian
