I have a 51 1/2 ton panel with a 455 Buick in it.
I used the CPP stock axle PS kit in it's entirety along with their disc brakes, firewall mount master booster, the one inch tie rod and upgraded ends, & the 1 1/8 inch front sway bar kit. Very happy with the outcome…steers like a 60s Caddy and stops great.
I used a 33 inch aftermarket column shift tilt column, too.
Also, put a Rancho steering stabilizer on the axle just for good measure. 600 miles and all works well so far.
