| | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | The 228 had a sealed cap. The pressure relief is built into the radiator. It is the round thing protruding from the aft side of the top tank on the left side. It is a 4 psi relief.
On the right aft side of that tank is a petcock. You should fill the radiator until it runs out that petcock. Put more than that in it and you can expect some to puke out the relief valve.
The 16 psi cap will hurt nothing as long as the 4 psi valve is working. | | |
