I installed the same pressure plate after it was rebuilt. The gentleman I bought this truck from had gone through it ten years ago and then basically parked it so I checked the bearing for smooth operation and re-used it.
What I'm thinking is the place that rebuilt the pressure plate made a mistake somewhere.
Anyway to check where the diaphragm spring fingers should be with the clutch and tranny installed?
