Oh yea, I worked in SubSafe a Nuclear QA... so yeah... they DO make bolts to that tolerance even way back in the 40s.
I have experience in exactly what machining practices are required to obtain a USN level 1 subsea vendor designation/qualification and it is no easy feat. That being said aren't we supposed to be having fun building old trucks and not nuclear submarine toleranced devices
