I'll let you all know what I find. I'm not driving it for now. I'm looking at new tie rod ends from LMC Truck. They're tapered and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these are a direct fit for the holes in the steering arms. The LMC site says they're a match for my truck but I thought someone here might have some experience with it.
I just went through all the old threads about making this conversion, so I know about grinding off the peened end of the old ones, drilling out the chamfered end of the pin, etc.
