ChevyNoob New Guy C Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 21 Northern California	I agree with originals being steel(not stainless) and painted. I have the originals to my 1954 in a box(they are badly dented and rusty) and they are all grey, no accent color on the bowtie. My 54 is the basic, working man's version(no deluxe stuff, 3 window).
