If you have a late model saginaw 3sp/with o/d,(with syncronized first gear, 7 bolt side cover) it can be mated to a saginaw 4sp car transmission. However there are some modifications that need to be made to it, unless you are familiar with transmission assembly you would be better off going with a t5 5 speed if you want overdrive.
