| | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 127 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 127 | I recently dropped the tranny on my 57 Chevy truck and noticed that there was a foam ring around the shifter tower. Is this to dampen road noise? I couldn't find it in the LMC catalog.
