the red paks with the woodpecker..is this allowed?

I went for a ride in the backseat of a 57'Chevy with glasspacks. it sounded great, but I couldn't hear a thing when we got to Santa Cruz.

Now, I think it's hard to beat the sound of a Chevy V8 with Dual One chamber Flowmasters and 3"exhaust from the collectors back.
