Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 566 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 566 | Yesterday I was reading in my 1956 Chevy 3100 manual the generator uses light engine oil or No. 20 engine oil every 1,000 miles. It also noted the successive refilling of the oiler should only be performed at the rear oiler. Successive fillings should not be made at the front oiler. Over oiling at the front oiler may result in damage to the generator.
