I just dug up another Rochester that I had laying around. It's a little different but it doesn't have a stamped number on the base to reference a model number but it also has this on the outside. I know this one was working for sure so I can only assume that this is normal.
Does any one know if the outside bottom gasket should cover up the small port on the base or not? The gasket supplied in the rebuild kit covers it.
