Head gasket or burnt valves are my top two things to look at, on second thought remove your valve cover and check the valve train for broken springs/push rods, or bent push rods, crank eng over and watch rocker arm travel .lots can go wrong valve adjustment wont fix no compression unless the adjusres magicaly backed themselves off!!
