| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | Bob, use a proper 'grease and wax remover' rather than any thinner, and use it before sanding so the sanding doesn't grind the junk down into the primer or metal - use the remover again and a tack cloth after sanding to be sure it's really clean and dust free
