I am wanting to know if there is a way to use the original gauges?
As Stuart said, if you want to keep as many gauges as possible (and keep them looking the same) you can by a $15 Runtz voltage reducer for the fuel gauge (or buy a 12v original-looking fuel gauge from one of the repo parts vendors).
No need to do anything with any other gauge - they will all work fine.
