crenwelge 'Bolter C Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 Fredericksburg, Texas	Yes, if you put the slip joint together wrong, it will cause vibration. I would be very surprised if the weight falling off of the tube would cause a noticeable difference at 20 mph.
