This might be a really stupid question, but here goes ...
I have an oil bath cleaner that appears to be exactly the same as the ones shown in this thread. However, the top and the element basket seem to be made in one piece, and I have not found a way to separate them. I suppose I can immerse the whole top part in solvent, but I would much prefer to see three pieces instead of two. Were they ever made as a unit? If not, is there a trick if they are "stuck" together? Thanks.
