| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | The torque tube is the same length from 1948-54 no mater if it was 3 or 4 speed. Trucks with a automatic trans had shorter torque tubes
The bell is also the same 3 or 4 speed.
The SM420 4 speed extension housing and yoke you need fit 1948-54.
