I'm trying to remove my fuel pump on my 55.1 3100, but one of the fuel lines won't come off. I assume I only need to turn the nut on the fuel line fitting to remove it? Or is there something I'm missing?

It appears that I'm working with the original pump and line. Could the fittings be so corroded that it won't move?

If so, would I better off removing the old pump with the old line (leading to the carb) still attached and just replace them both?

Thanks!
