Thanks guys. It does have rusted out cab corners. Fortunately I also found a '47 ( 2 ton conventional cab ) firetruck that had been stored indoors it's whole life ( only 17,00 miles on it ) Unfortunately somebody rolled it years ago and most of it was striped before I got it. Anyway not much left of it but the cab corners are solid. Working on transferring some pictures of my '49 so I can post a link. Also perusing through the Big Bolt forum in search of Spanky...
