For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 97 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 97 | OK.....I've got the truck deconstructed to the frame. front and rear axles out along with suspension. There was so much oil and grease buildup on the lower end (engine tranny and forward torque tube)that I really can't tell if the ball seal was leaking or of it was a product of the engine/tranny. So while I have access I'd like to rework the torque tube bushings and seals. anybody have experience with the okie bushing? would there be an advantage to using one over the stock bushing? any tips ...tricks ...preferred methods welcome. Thanks | | |
