Anyone know what that horrible looking anti-squeak on the top of leading edge of the inner fender is made of? It is used in several areas on the cab. The weirdest place is inside the cab above the hole for the fresh air heater. When I replaced my outer cowl, I found the staples that used to hold the anti-squeak in place. I could not figure out what would squeak in that area as there was no potential for metel-to-metal contact?! The same stuff is also used on the small filler panels near the hood hinge area. Venders are selling rubber pieces for these filler panels but they buckle when you bend them around the corners.
