I started to think about the Rochester Carb I rebuilt with a nos oldtime carb kit.

Here's my email to Harold.

Harold, What do I need to do to the carb. I dis-assembled the carb.

Cleaned it whistle clean. I then put in a Rochester NOS carb rebuild kit.

The kit was about ( 50 ) years old.

I'm now thinking........YOU have other ideas about my carb.

I've have not run the carb or fuel pump yet.

I'd rather re-do the carb then have problems later.

May I request your solution for my carb.

Do you have any kits that will work for the modern fuels ?

George

Here's his answer.

Hello George;

If I were in your shoes, I'd go through that carburetor again with my
new-production, made in the U.S.A. special order kit #323 at $59.00, plus
shipping. All the materials in this kit are designed to withstand today's
alcohol-based fuels. The "special order" simply means that you could
expect to receive the kit 5 to 6 days after my receipt of your paid order
for it. If you had me hold the fuel pump kit until the carburetor kit was
ready, then the order would be $38.00 for the fuel pump kit, plus $59.00
for the carburetor kit, plus $8.00 shipping, for an order total of
$105.00.

I'll wait to hear back from you.

Take care.
