The Seagrave engine was massive.
Much better power to weight ratio with a Cadillac V-12 or V-16. The 12 should fit into the truck. Overhead valve, made 1930 -37, 16 was made until 40.

Or forget gas and put in a classic GM / Detroit 6/71 diesel. 2 stroke, supercharged (and drips a little oil)
