Report to follow: Departed HQ at 1023 as flight of two, three embarked. Weather perfect, temp perfect, wind out of the south west. Charlie in the lead at 48-50 MPH. 1113, 40 miles later over the 301 bridge and picked up Sweet at the Sheetz. 13 MPG after taking 3 gallons to fill. As three ship off to Fairview beach for eats and company. Leisurely lunch, pictures and then off again through the country roads of VA. Sweet departed to the west. As two ship Charlie lead back to MD and HQ. Total of 100-120 miles. The 1/2 Bone made it without much trouble. Heard some new noises that may have been diagnosed to a rear axle (bearing) or a tire that needs balancing. With the truck in the garage, I have some time to research those items, before I move ahead. Thanks to John, Peggy and Sweet for the convoy assist. They gave me the confidence required to get out of the county and across state lines and I think we all enjoyed the trucks and weather.
