Hey guys

Here is what i would like to do if possible. I have a 1956 chevy 3100 with the 235. The gas tank is the original behind the seat. I want to move it inside the frame rail before the rear axel and besides the driveshaft. I do not want to lose my spare tire carrier under the bed and i do not want to install the rear fender with the dimple in it and mount it on the side. I would not want to just throw the tire in the bed either.

I went to tuckers today and asked them if i had any options. They told me that there was no option. They told me that some of the 47-53 had the tanks mounted as i described but are not made anymore. So has anyone tried this and found a solution that worked well?

I have the cab and bed off so its easy to make something work just need to find the right tank.

Any ideas is appreciated. Thanks or maybe tanks a bunch.
Jaime
