I,m not shure what you mean but the white wire needs to go from the stop light switch to the turn switch. The late model connector is the best. The grey wire is for the light in the shift ind. There might be a place in the fuse box to plug it in or wire it to one of the dash lights. It should dim when you turn the knob on the headlight switch.
