| | | | Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 74 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 74 | I installed a s10 alternator based on recommendations when I converted to 12v because it has a grooved wheel, however the recommended belt has never stayed on despite being replaced and checking the alignment. Just realized the fan wheel is flat, not grooved. Apparently it was replaced at some point. What is the best fix? Can the fan wheel be replaced? Will a flat belt work better? Change alternator?
