For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 237 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 237 | My 1946 Burb has 4 side windows with no metal trim like the cab doors have.
I need to shave the glass about 1/16 to 1/8 inch in order for it to move smoothly up and down in the new window channels and wood frames.
Can anybody suggest a process to do it? I am thinking using a belt sander with a fine sanding belt.
Am I on the right track? The amount I need to remove is too small to use a glass cutter.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated. | | |
