Hi;
Well I dropped the new 235 onto the frame of my 1950 3800, installed the new Langdon's distrib and coil, checked the valves, filler her with oil, hooked up the radiator and I'm just about ready to give her a start but.... I'm not much of an electrician. With just the motor and trans on the frame, no cab or anything else, whats the best way to wire the 235 up to give her a start? I'd like to get things running smoothly before I start putting the sheet metal on.
Cable from Battery to Starter.
Battery grounded to frame along with the block grounded to Frame with the ground strap.
power from Battery to coil?
coil and distrib hooked up.
Do I need to wire up the alternator?
This is probably old-hat for some of the vets out there, Anyone have a quick tutorial?
