| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 76 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 76 | I have installed a T-5 5 speed transmission out of an 80's Camaro and switched the tail housing to move the shift lever forward. My question is what is everyone doing to keep the original 3 or 4 speed transmission lever look? I have both an original 3 and 4 speed transmission with the shift levers to use if there is a conversion, or do you cut and weld them in place. I have also seen some aftermarket levers for sale but not sure which one will fit with this type of transmission to truck swap. Any suggestions? and pictures would be great.
