#95580 05/13/2006 8:45 PM | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | With no sender hooked up, you should get a full reading. If you ground the sender wire, it should read empty. It sounds like you could have an intermitent open in the wire.
I believe that there is a ground wire that attaches to one of the hold down screws on the sender rim. This should be grounded on the bottom of the floor. | | |
