52 3100,all original with 216 and rochester carb. was starting and running like a top. was going a little to fast and downshifted causing the engine to backfire. ever since then it wont start worth a darn. has fuel, has compression,has spark. ive tried adjusting the timing with no luck, rechecked point gap, plugs and plug gap, and filed the points. im 99% sure its an ignition issue becuase it wont tart with ether and it doesnt flood out. it starting to drive me crazy, any suggestions?
