For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 74 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 74 | I have put a new gas pump on my 1953 235 and I have an in-line fuel filter in front of the carb, but the filter does not fill up. In fact it is very low in the see thru filter. This is the same problem the old pump had. Someone said that the cam could be wore out and that I should put on an electric pump. Also is there a way to adjust the pressure on the mechanical pump or are they set at the factory? Thanks | | |
