I have a 57 3200 and have installed a new wiring harness but my problem still persists. My fuel and temp gauges don't work. The fuel gauge registers or at least the needle moves, I have a new sending unit, there is a good ground, continuity between the sending unit and gauge and everything is wired according to the shop manual wiring diagram. The only thing that is different from the manual is the spades on my ignition switch don't match the drawing of the ignition switch in the book, but I have looked at other "original" ignition switches from 57s and they were the same as mine. The same basic problem exists with the temp gauge...new unit and continuity. This problem was there prior to installing the new wiring harness. Everything else works fine. I'm at a loss. I just rebuilt the engine and don't want to drive it too much without the temp gauge. Any advice is much appreciated.
