you need to change the spring perches jc whitney sells the 1 3/4 spring perches you need to install that rear, I have a s-10 rear in my 46 1/2ton and I used the jc whitney perches,also, you need to get the s-10 plates for the bottom of the springs because they have the lower shock mounts on them, you'll also have to redrill them and get new u bolts, i have pics of my install ..click on the link below
