But the timing gear cover bolts have to be somewhat loose so the timing gear hole centers itself on the speedi sleeve. Then tighten the cover bolts. I Hope you drilled and tapped the 2 botton bolt holes as per a Stovebolt Tech Tip. Make any sense? Good Luck, Jerry Jerry
