For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 10 | My new 1950 3100 has a tag in the door jamb on the drivers side with a serial number. I ran the number and it says it ays it's a 3/4 ton built in Janesville WI in May of 1950. Cool except that the sides of the hood have "3100" emblems and the wheel base is 116 inches. Unless I'm mistaken wheel base is measured center of wheel to center of wheel. I bought the truck with a title and retitled it when I bought it. Was there a short 3/4 ton made or do I have an incorrect data tag? Hmmm..... | | |
