I suspect that it's really a 250ci if it's a 1966. Same block so not much difference. The 230 was offered in 1964 and 1965, but I believe 1966 they offered the 250.
I think you can search through some GM Heritage Center documents for the 1966 trucks and find good info about engine specs etc.
